Don't do dumb s*#t.

In the last few days the media has been full of stories, that are meant to be shocking, scandalous and dreadful, but between you an me, I just think the base of the issue is just that people do dumb S%*t.

Example number 1.

This is Amanda Goff, or Samantha X is her secret  escort name.

Although not such a secret anymore since she came out on National Television telling the world that she is an escort. Now I am need to make it clear that I don't care that she is a prostitute, sorry "Escort" (and while I am on the topic what is the difference? Do Escorts just charge more?). Amanda/Samantha can be whatever the hell she wants, but I believe on Sunday night she did some dumb S*%t.  She told the world, including her children what she does for a living. And our society is just not ready for that. Amanda/Samantha, be what ever you want to be, but remember you have kids, and kids and their parents can be cruel (no matter how often you work in the school canteen). I do understand that you have a book to sell about your insiders view of your 18months as an Escort, but seriously- not cool. 

Example number 2

Two players for the Melbourne Football club decided it would be funny to dress up for their Mad Monday celebrations as Rolf Harris (a convicted child sex predator) and a young girl, and then they were surprised that there was a backlash. I'm calling it boys, if you think it is "Too Soon" chances are it is too soon. Repeat after me.. That is boys doing some DUMB S*%T.

Example Number 3

So this is the iCloud?

Hear my out on this one. The leaking of naked photos of celebrities. Now I need to start by saying that I don't care who takes naked photos of themselves, if you want to be naked, be naked. I get that. Wouldn't do it myself, because I am not a naked person. I also think it is really bad that the mysterious iCloud was hacked. And I hope the people that hacked it get into some serious trouble. (God I wish someone could explain that iCloud thing. Does anyone get that thing? All I know is that every time I plug my phone in I get told there is no space in the icloud- which I can see now is because it is full of photos of naked celebrities) and I also think it is really bad that the photos were distributed, and people are opening them.  Buttttttt taking photos or videos of yourself that you don't want anyone to see (especially when you are a celeb) is an example of really Dumb S*#t. Let me use this example. I am teacher. If naked photos of me (of which I can assure you their will be none of. EVER) ever come to light, I will lose my job. Therefore I do not take naked photos of myself, because if there is one thing that's for certain it will be whatever you don't want people to see they will see. See easy!

Whoops.

While I am also on the topic of this scandal people are questioning why there were no leaked photos of male celebrities. There is a very simple reason for this. If men have naked shots, they tend to be quite free and easy about letting people see them, and they usually leak them themselves, as one of the boys from 5 Seconds of Summer demonstrated this week.
